📋 Overview
Anvilor 1.15 & 1.16 included several key enhancements as well as a planned internal maintenance period. Together, the work in 1.15 and 1.16 paves the way for more rapid platform enhancements in 1.17 and beyond for more flexible data management and reporting.
Admittedly, this is not the most “exciting” of release notes - but we worked on some core stuff so that the next highlights post will be more exciting 😬.
🚀 Key Updates
Data Synchronization with Anvilor Form “Hooks”
- We introduced a new beta concept to Anvilor Forms, called a “Form Hook”, that serves as way for Anvilor Forms to receive integration/web-hooks from external services.
- This allows Forms extensions to have more integration power in updating Form data, particularly in standard plugins like Auctions and Raffles for updating information about Auction Items, Ticket availability, etc.
Permissions & Security Model Improvement
- We enhanced our security model to allow for more specified control of system actions.
- This allows Org Admins to better control permissions of Users within their Org and the various parts of the system they have access to.
- It also allows us to build integrations with limited and explicit access (particularly in regards to access to invoking individual Anvilor Form Hooks)
🔎 Looking Ahead
Next up we will be using these advancements to add features in the Anvilor Portal for Users, particularly Form Builders, to gain better insights to their data. We plan to roll out a powerful “reporting” engine that will allow for comprehensive viewing and summarization of Form Responses with custom filtering, derivations, and more!
